MacKenzie Design Build is a full-service construction company based in Hingham, MA, combining design and building craftsmanship to transform spaces into extraordinary living environments. Founded by a design professional passionate about home design and construction, our company was founded after an interior design business recognized the need to provide additional direction in homebuilding.

Through combining a general contracting license with design, we have proudly completed more than 80 projects. We have built new homes, done small and large remodels, and performed home restorations. We've partnered with several historical commissions on the South Shore, ensuring that our work respects the rich heritage of these historic properties.

Our dedicated team of skilled subcontractors excels in renovations and remodels, delivering custom solutions for creating spaces for kitchens, baths, mudrooms, wine rooms, nurseries, and more. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail in finishing carpentry and other trades. Whether clients bring their plans or seek our design expertise, we collaborate closely to ensure each project reflects their vision while offering fresh ideas and inspiration from our years of experience.

Fully licensed and insured, we provide comprehensive services, including general contracting and project management, as well as the design work needed, including all material selection and sourcing.
